A well kept secret, still wild and hardly travelled, the Pontiac is a site of a thousand and one discoveries waiting to happen! Located on the western edge of the Outaouais, this area stands out due to the architectural diversity of its homes, farms and public buildings, which were all designed by the many Dutch, Irish, French, English and German settlers that developed this area.
Photo : Chutes Coulonge The entrance to the Pontiac flaunts a beautifully untouched view of the Gatineau River, where a multitude of outdoor adventures are yours to take advantage of throughout the year. These include fresh water sports, golf, hunting, fishing, canoe-camping and hiking. The Pontiac is also abounding in natural wonders such as the Chutes Coulonge and their spectacular 2 500 foot canyon or the PPJ Cycloparc bike trail, which allows for a scenic and tranquil exploration of this area. Other countryside territories : La Lièvre and the Petite-Nation, The Vallée-de-la-Gatineau and the Collines-de-l'Outaouais
